Black-white colour and graphic lines is a perfect combination in art, ilustrations and also in store window display. Designer who made Hugo Boss window design really know the right combination of those two artistic tools( black-white colour and graphic elements). This elegant window i found on Tērbatas street, and must say this exposition really caught my eye. The grapich elements of the clocks on background, is like a kind of symbol for changes ( autumn is coming). And black clothes of models stands out of grapic background, pointing that they are the main elements of this composition.

A pearl of Hipster window design!

Now in LV hipster subculture is really trendy and we can see that style not only in fashion, but aswell in store window design.
This Hipster design i found on Tērbatas street, Rīga, it is store and caffe called PĒRLE ( pearl).
Must say it reflects the character of style for 100%

Lots of window designers use stickers just for text, but stickers can be used in different ways. You can use sticker for creating interior or exterior. With sticker, you can add to your window design something, than you can not create or get in real life.

Solstice fiest atmosphere in store windows/ Līgo svētku atmosfēra skatlogos

Summer is here as well as most important latvian fiest Ligo on 23. and 24. th. of june. It is time when we celebrate solstice, but it is also one of the most active shoping time, because lots of people have name days.
And here goes my question: “does shop windows reflects that?” Do they give a feeling of this celebration, gifts and summer time?
Well actualyi found some…. and i made some.
So here goes the good works KIDS!

Vasara ir klāt tāpat kā latviešu nozīmīgākie svētki Līgo ( 23. un 24 jūnijā). Šis ir laiks, kad mēs svinam vasaras saulgriežus, bet tas ir arī ļoti aktīvs iepirkšanās periods, jo daudziem ir vārda dienas.
Un šeit man rodas jautājums: “vai veikalu skatlogi atspoguļo šo svētku, apdāvināšanas un vasaras sajūtu?
Vispār es parīti atradu… un arī pati uztaisīju.

Today i opened one of latvian news portal and found the best idea for SALE window design. It was an image of one art project in Germany made in Brounschweig church.
As You can see everything is covered with stickers for prices- floor, walls, ceilings and even a model.
I think have to make something like this- LOve this idea! Such a window design would definitely get five sunglasses of five.
Šodien es atvēru vienu no latviešu ziņu portāliem, un atradu vislabāko ideju izpārdošanu skatlogu dizainam. Tas bija attēls no Vācijas mākslas projekta, kurš īstenots kādā Braunšveigas baznīcā Vācijā. Kā kau Jūs redzat bildē- viss ir noklāts ar cenu zīmītēm- grīda, sienas, griesti un pat modele.
Man arī vajadzētu uztaisīt kaut ko tādā tehnikā- mīlu šo ideju. Tāds skatlogu dizains ir pelnījs piecas saulesbrilles no piecām!
